AGS Malka is a butcher's shop at 34 Derech HaAtzmaut. Its site tells the family's story: it began in Morocco, where a boy named Avraham worked with meat alongside his father in the market; after he immigrated he opened Migdal HaEmek's first butcher's shop in 1958, his son Shimshon joined him, and together they founded the business under its present name. A meat plant followed in 1991, and the site says the two still run the family business, with the young grandson joining lately. The shop sells fresh beef and chicken, frozen beef, chicken, lamb and fish, minced meat, hamburgers and merguez sausages, with select cuts from South America and products of its own making, and takes orders through its online shop for delivery or collection. It is open Sunday to Thursday from 07:00 to 19:00 and on Friday until 13:30, and the Migdal HaEmek religious council lists it among the businesses it supervises.
