Rony's Bread is a small boutique sourdough bakery in Adi that Rony Lila opened in September 2020 after thirty years in high-tech, in what had been the storeroom in his yard, after half a year of baking in the living room. Its loaves are shaped by hand from fresh, finely milled flour, raised on sourdough alone without sugar or preservatives, and many are rich in additions: spelt with walnuts, raisins or caraway, jalapeño and cheddar, and gluten-free buckwheat. Beside the breads it makes pastries, spreads and boutique desserts that change every week. Orders from its online shop are supplied on Thursday or Friday, and groups can book a five-hour sourdough workshop at the bakery, with a meal in the bakery's yard, for 350 shekels each.
