Umbria is an Italian chef restaurant in the stone building of Afula's old railway station, which its site dates to 1905. Chef Roi HaLevi leads the kitchen, and the menu gives Italian classics a current reading: focaccia and bruschetta, pastas, risottos, pizzas and raw fish. Beneath the station a cellar more than a hundred years old, once used as a lock-up, holds close to 200 wines and hosts tastings and workshops, and a private room seats up to 35 diners. It opens for dinner from Sunday to Thursday and is closed on Friday and Saturday.
