The Shavit family runs seven guest units and a restaurant on their farm in Moshav Arbel, close to the Arbel cliff west of the Sea of Galilee; its site names Sarah and Israel Shavit as the owners. The garden has fruit trees, flowers, a lawn, a waterfall and hammocks in hidden corners, and a heated swimming pool that is open all year and covered in winter. Israel Shavit cooks the dinners himself: pot stews of meat and root vegetables, served over about two hours by arrangement, at around 19:00, to Israeli music, while breakfast is served from 8:00 to 9:30. A cellar sells wine, olive oil, honey and jams from farms in the Lower Galilee, beside pralines, seasonal jams and ceramic pomegranates designed by Sarah. Its site says the meals are for guests staying at the zimmers, and that Superbus line 42 stops in the moshav about six times a day.
