Nehara is a country lodging in Kibbutz Ashdot Ya'akov Ihud in the Jordan Valley, five minutes from the Sea of Galilee and a quarter of an hour from Tiberias and Hamat Gader, its site says. Breakfast is a buffet in Café Nehara, a dining room for about 100 furnished like a grandmother's house, with an old gramophone, a typewriter, milk churns and chandeliers. In summer and at the festivals guests use the kibbutz's 33-metre pool five minutes' walk away, and the lodging takes private events of up to 100 people and meetings of up to 40.
