The Ivry family's dairy shop in Moshav Azaria, selling cheeses made to recipes developed over three generations since the 1950s

Ivry Dairy began in the early 1950s, when David and Louisa Ivry came from Iraq and set up a small farm in Moshav Azaria with cows, sheep, goats and chickens, making cheese the Iraqi way for the family from the milk they kept. In the early 1980s their son Eliyahu Ivry and his wife Shula turned the home dairy into a business that sold cheese beyond the family, and their four children joined, delivering the cheeses to customers' homes. The dairy shop opened in the late 1990s, and the cheese pastries baked there in a wood-fired taboon grew into the dairy's restaurants in Ariel Sharon Park in Tel Aviv and Nahal Be'er Sheva Park. Today the dairy makes many kinds of cheese developed over three generations, and sells them at the shop on HaPardes Street and through group orders delivered by area.
