Tampopo is a boutique sushi and Japanese restaurant with branches in Bat Yam and Rishon LeZion. Its menu is the work of its master sous-chef, Saka: sushi rolls of every kind, stir-fries, soups such as ramen, salads and desserts, and starters such as crispy fish, fried calamari, Japanese pickles and rice balls filled with tuna, salmon or caviar. More than 30 specials are named after its staff and its regulars, and there are vegetarian dishes too. Guests at the bar get a taste of choya, a Japanese plum liqueur, and it makes large party platters for birthdays and hen nights.
