Farm 46, Moshav Beko'a, Beko'a

A family boutique winery on the Rosenberg farm at the edge of Moshav Beko'a that makes orange wines and pet-nats, with a dairy kitchen and a Friday buffet among the vines

Kerem Barak is the Rosenberg family's boutique winery, founded in 2011 when they bought a farm at the edge of Moshav Beko'a; Yossi Rosenberg, its winemaker, began making wine in 2003 at the Soreq wine school and went on to study at Tel Hai College. The family planted its first vineyard beside the winery on the eve of Tu B'Av 2012, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Chardonnay, added Colombard, Viognier, Marselan and Carignan in 2017 and seven more varieties in 2025, about 20 dunams in all, and also tends a vineyard at Moshav Aruggot. It has made orange wines since its first vintage in 2012 and natural sparkling pet-nats since 2020; its flagship is Dragon Bunny, a blend built on Petite Sirah. The winery is named after the Rosenbergs' eldest son, Barak, who died of an illness in 2010 at 18, and the superheroes from his comics are drawn on its labels. The farm also has a dairy and a sourdough bakery, and the visitor centre serves a dairy menu with tastings through the week and a Friday buffet with its wines poured freely; the site says the winery was named Israel's best boutique winery at the Terravino competition in 2019 and 2023.
