The main entrance to Bir al-Maksur, a minute from Interchange 79, Bir al-Maksur

A home-cooking restaurant at the main entrance to Bir al-Maksur, serving breakfast, musakhan, maqluba and mansaf every day from eight in the morning

Luqma is a restaurant at the main entrance to Bir al-Maksur, a minute from Interchange 79, and its digital card sums it up as breakfast and a kitchen of home-made food. Its menu, in Arabic and Hebrew, opens with a breakfast spread of eggs, Arabic salad, labneh, cheese, tahini, butter and honey and one of its own pastries, then runs through shakshuka, stuffed vine leaves and courgettes, fried kubbeh and kubbeh nayeh to musakhan, maqluba, kabsa, sheikh al-mahshi, shishbarak and lamb or veal mansaf with rice and cooked yogurt. For a table it roasts asado, lamb shoulder and lamb neck in portions of 1.2 to 3 kilos with salads, rice and cooked yogurt, and it sells its vine leaves, kubbeh, shishbarak and schnitzel frozen to cook at home. Its landing page says it serves breakfast, hosts groups, takes orders ahead for pickup and is open on Saturday, and its own app takes orders for delivery.
