Carmel Forest Cabins is two wooden cabins, the Squirrel and the Hedgehog, in the Druze village of Daliyat al-Karmel, on the very edge of the mountain facing the Carmel forests, in a secluded pine grove. Its site says they are made for couples and for families with up to three children: each has a bedroom with a double bed, a gallery floor with two mattresses, a double jet jacuzzi, a fully equipped kitchen with an espresso machine, satellite TV, wifi and air conditioning. Each cabin opens onto a private balcony facing the view, with a pool that is heated and covered in winter and a barbecue. A Druze breakfast is served every morning, and spa treatments and massages, meals delivered to the cabin and balloon decorations can be ordered ahead for an extra charge.
