A boutique hotel at the entrance to Dimona where every room is dedicated to a Hebrew songwriter or singer, with sing-along evenings through the year.
Desert Sounds, also known as the Drachim hotel, stands at the entrance to Dimona in a colourful building in an oriental style. It has 60 double rooms and two suites, each dedicated to a writer or performer of Hebrew song, with an illustrated portrait at the door and the artist's songs playing inside. Through the year it holds themed song evenings led by a host who plays, sings and tells the stories behind the songs, while the words are shown on a large screen and the audience sings along. It has a health club with a dry Finnish sauna, a wet sauna and a hot tub, a spa with treatment rooms, a garden with lawns, and a covered half-Olympic pool that is open in the summer months. Its two dining rooms serve an Israeli breakfast and, for groups, dinners; the hotel says the meals are kosher.
