Tourist Centre, 9 Derech Yotam, Eilat

A neighbourhood café and restaurant in Eilat's Tourist Centre, opened in 2014 by two friends who grew up in the town, with breakfast, brunch and dinner

Branja is a café and restaurant in Eilat's Tourist Centre, opposite the mall, run by Kfir Klaro and Gal Cohen Akad, childhood friends from the same Eilat neighbourhood who came back from New York and Tel Aviv wanting a real café (Walla, 2017). It opened in 2014: Klaro told ynet in June 2020 that it had turned six during the lockdown. Time Out explained that a branja is a group of friends, and its own line is "coffee, kitchen and friends". Its booking page describes a modern café and restaurant with starters, sandwiches, breakfasts, salads, pastas and meat and dairy main courses, for anything from a light breakfast or coffee and cake to brunch, dinner or a cocktail. The menu also has vegan dishes, dishes marked gluten-free, a children's menu, fresh juices and beer; on Fridays there is Mum's chraime, tilapia in a spicy red sauce, and a brunch box for two is delivered to your home or the beach. Tables can be booked online, inside and at the inside bar, where there is no smoking, or outside, at tables or the outdoor bar, with a non-smoking area. Channel 13 wrote in May 2025 that its stage has hosted acoustic shows for years. mako's guide to the best places to eat in Eilat in 2026 put it among the cafés for brunch and lunch, calling it the most neighbourhood, most Tel Aviv café in Eilat, where Eilatis have eaten their brunch for 12 years and where you mostly meet the town's residents, and named its cheese melt, avocado toast with a poached egg and pancakes with bacon.

Sources disagree on these hours

These are the hours of its Google listing, as Restaurant Guru copies it (updated on 15 August 2026), as its Tabit record copied it on 11 September 2026 and as Wanderlog shows it. The weekly schedule on its Tabit booking page, last changed in August 2025, gives 08:00 to 23:00 from Sunday to Friday and 17:00 to 23:00 on Saturday, as Channel 13 did in May 2025, and its page on Ontopo gives 08:00 to 23:00 every day; so from Sunday to Wednesday the sources differ on whether it closes at 22:00 or 23:00. Its booking page says the kitchen closes from 12:00 to 12:30, Sunday to Friday, to change menus. Its Tabit ordering page takes takeaway and delivery orders until 22:05, and until 22:30 from Thursday to Saturday, and Wolt delivers from 12:30 to 22:00, on Saturday from 17:00. d.co.il gives Sunday to Thursday 07:30 to 19:30 and Friday 09:00 to 13:00, and the English page of the tourism site eilat.city and GoNegev, like Walla and Time Out in 2017, give hours until 01:00.
