Amore is a kosher café and patisserie in the heart of Kibbutz Ein Shemer, named after its owner Amit's grandmother Yehudit, according to its website. It began as a small home bakery and grew into a café serving fresh sandwiches, warm pastries, salads, desserts and cakes of its own, baked every day and served at seating corners with a quiet country feel. Custom cakes are made in the flavours, design and lettering the customer chooses, ordered at least four days ahead and collected from the patisserie, and the shop also keeps birthday cakes ready to take, sweet gift boxes that the staff help put together, breakfast trays and hosting platters for events. It is closed on Sunday and Saturday, and open until 14:00 on Friday.
