Estehar is an intimate boutique hotel in Gidona, at the foot of Mount Gilboa, with twelve rooms looking out over the Gilboa and the valley and the Harod spring a few steps away. It was founded by Limor Katz-Evans, a movement teacher, body-mind therapist and social entrepreneur, and took its first guests at Sukkot in October 2023. Its site describes a professional studio for movement and therapy with yoga, dance and mindfulness classes, which are free for hotel guests, a roof terrace looking out to the mountain and the valley, a clinic for touch and relaxation treatments, and a kosher kitchen. It hosts workshops and retreats: a Yom Kippur retreat, well-being weekends, a couples' retreat, sound-healing and Ayurveda workshops and a weekend of culture and art.
