A kosher Japanese restaurant and sushi bar in the Givat Brenner shopping compound beside Route 40, where the Kiyoshi chain began

Kiyoshi Sushi Bar started in Givat Brenner, and its site credits chefs Shai Attias, a culinary entrepreneur behind Tel Aviv's Sushi Bar Basel, and Adi Melamed, who brought long experience of Asian cooking, with opening it; a second branch has since opened in Kiryat Malachi. Its site says the fish arrives fresh every day and that the kitchen makes all of its own sauces. The menu runs from sushi, sashimi and special rolls to wok noodles, curries and starters such as gyoza and miso soup. The restaurant seats diners, takes table bookings through Tabit and delivers to Givat Brenner, Rehovot, Gedera and the villages around. It is kosher under the rabbinate, closes on Friday afternoon and opens again on Saturday night an hour after Shabbat ends.
