49 HaSivim Street, Giv'at Shmuel

A London-styled cocktail bar with a taboun kitchen on HaSivim Street, from the people behind the Dreamerie bakery

Baker Saloon is the cocktail bar its site calls Dreamerie's new brother: a London bar with an antique touch and careful design, of the kind its site pictures you stumbling on in a dark alley on a rainy night. A huge, heavy taboun turns out pizzas and pastries, and the menu runs from taboun frena and cauliflower shawarma through arancini and crispy rice with tuna tartare to hand-made chestnut gnocchi, fish and chips, sea bream fillet and Neapolitan-style pizzas. It opens Sunday to Thursday from 19:00 to midnight and on Saturday night from an hour and a half after Shabbat, is closed on Friday, and admits guests aged 21 and over. It hosts private events of up to 70 people, from birthdays and britot to company evenings and lectures, and its kashrut is under the rabbinate.
