Moshav Givat Yoav, Givat Yoav

A Mongolian yurt village of 23 air-conditioned yurts on a hill in Moshav Givat Yoav, facing the Sea of Galilee, with shared kitchens, campfire corners and a French pastry café

Bai Gali means nature in Mongolian, and its site says the village was set up by residents of the moshav, farmers at heart, who took elements of the Mongolian way of life and added Israeli comfort. It spreads over about 26 dunams with 23 yurts: 12 zimmer yurts for couples and families, 10 camp yurts for mattress lodging and one large yurt for conferences and groups, each with its own toilet, shower and air conditioning. The grounds hold fruit trees, shaded lawns, hammocks, a water park of splash fountains, a campfire and poike area, barbecues, two outdoor kitchens and a large equipped kitchen whose pergola is closed in for winter. The shop at reception, open every day from 08:00 to 21:30, sells coffee, beer, wine, pizzas baked in its stone oven, charcoal and ice creams. Inside the village are Mulan Patisserie, a café of handmade French desserts and pastries overlooking the lake, and the Ananda treatment space. Its site puts it 10 minutes' drive from the Sea of Galilee and 25 from Hamat Gader, and says it works 365 days a year.
