An Asian kitchen and sushi bar on Katzenelson Street, one of two TORII restaurants with Neve Avivim in Tel Aviv
TORII takes its name from the traditional gate at the entrance to Japanese shrines, and its site says it opens a gate to modern Asian cooking, mixing East and West: precise sushi, dishes from across Asia, Asian spirits and cocktails. The Givatayim room is built of concrete, iron, natural wood and stone, after the feel of a shrine. The menu has sushi and special rolls, steamed buns, ramen, wok noodles from China to Thailand and the Philippines, curries and rice dishes, with a children's menu and party platters. On weekdays it serves set business lunches at midday, and it is open every day of the week.
