34 Jabotinsky Street, Beit Feinberg, Hadera

A kosher Italian-Israeli café and restaurant in Beit Feinberg, one of the first houses of Hadera, on Jabotinsky Street

Cafe Beit Feinberg is in the house of the founding Feinberg family, one of the first houses in Hadera, built in stages in 1885 and 1886. Israel Feinberg was one of the four first guards Yehoshua Hankin sent to hold the land bought in 1880, and Avshalom Feinberg, one of the founders of the NILI underground, grew up in the house. Its Italian-Israeli menu runs from breakfasts served until noon to focaccia and Neapolitan pizza from a stone oven, pasta, ravioli and gnocchi, big salads and fish, with vegan and gluten-free choices. On Friday it serves an all-inclusive brunch buffet until 14:00, and its site says it is kosher mehadrin; it is on the Hadera religious council's list.
