Kibbutz Hanaton, by the HaMovil interchange, Hanaton

A winery at Kibbutz Hanaton by the HaMovil interchange, making Israeli-style wines from Mediterranean grapes, with a wine yard that pours tastings beside a light kosher menu

Jezreel Valley Winery was founded in 2012 to make truly Israeli wines, suited to the Israeli climate, palate and character, and its search for an Israeli style led it to Mediterranean grape varieties, distinctive plots of land and both new and traditional methods; its site features its Argaman, '100% Israel'. In its wine yard at Kibbutz Hanaton visitors taste by free pour, by a tasting tray, by the glass or by the bottle, beside a light menu, and its site says the winery and the food are kosher with a certificate. It hosts private and company events and birthday parties, and its white wines, its site says, are made for the hot local climate and the local food. The visitor centre is accessible, with adapted toilets, a ramp at the entrance and parking alongside.
