The Lavi family's estate winery on Mount Gerizim in Har Brakha, making wine from its own hilltop vineyards, with the Bracha Al HaHar visitor centre for tastings and lunches

Har Bracha Winery is the estate winery of the Lavi family on Mount Gerizim: Nir Lavi planted vineyards on the mountain, and the family founded the winery in 2007, the year their fifth daughter was born, after much demand for their grapes. It makes wine only from the grapes it grows, close to 50,000 bottles a year under the Ish Harim and Joseph labels, and sells its own olive oil too. Its visitor centre, Bracha Al HaHar, offers a tasting of three wines with a talk by the owners for 35 shekels and lunches booked ahead, from a chicken plate at 76 shekels to an entrecôte plate at 140, each with salads, a tasting and a tour of the winery, at tables facing the view. The community's website adds that the restaurant opens on Wednesday evenings and that May to October is the season to visit.
