Rozalia is a dairy café and patisserie in Hemdat, in the north of the Jordan Valley, built beside its owners' long-standing pastry kitchen. Its site says the display case fills each morning with breakfast pastries, decorated cakes, cookies, boutique desserts and savoury bakes, served with Fresco coffee, beside a menu of breakfasts, salads and sandwiches with gluten-free and vegan dishes. It is named after the owner's Hungarian grandmother; the couple opened Rozalia in 2014 in an Ottoman-era building in Beit She'an, ran it there for seven years and then brought it home to Hemdat. It also hosts small events such as brit ceremonies, bar and bat mitzvahs, birthdays and business meetings, seats groups outside or in the air-conditioned room, and sells hosting trays and dairy catering collected from its kitchen in Hemdat. The regional council's tourism site lists it as open Tuesday to Thursday from 8:30 to 14:30 and on Friday from 8:30 to 14:00.
