Papagaio in Herzliya is a branch of the Papagaio chain of Brazilian meat restaurants, in the Arena mall at 2 HaShunit Street in the Herzliya Marina. Its website says the chain has been a byword among Israel's meat lovers for more than 20 years and that its branches have welcomed more than 3 million guests, and its booking page says the chain began in 1996. Another Papagaio, in Talpiot in Jerusalem, is on the Jerusalem religious council's kashrut list. The meat is grilled the Brazilian way and brought to the table on giant skewers, in the espeto corrido tradition, as Herzliya's tourism site describes it. The meal the menu is built around is the Brazilian table: it starts with the salada de casa, five salads with the house bread, and crisp chicken wings, and then every diner is served repeated rounds of all the meats, London broil, chicken drumsticks, entrecote, spring chicken, marinated veal, kebab, chorizo sausages, brisket and asado, with rice with feijoada, green salad or chips. In the evening it costs 318 shekels a person and 139 for a child up to 10, and the whole table orders it. For the conjunto, Portuguese for together, the table picks a platter of about a kilo of meats served on a sizzling plate; the menu also has steaks, lamb chops, prime rib by weight, a burger, kebab and salmon, and cocktails with Brazilian names. It is kosher, mehadrin and meat, under the Herzliya religious council, and is open from Sunday to Thursday from 13:00 to 23:00, with set lunches until 17:00; on Friday its hours vary with demand, and it is closed on Shabbat. At Passover in 2025 and 2026 it opened on the intermediate days of the festival, kosher for Passover, with a menu adapted for it. For events its website offers a projector and screen, sound equipment and workshops, and Herzliya's tourism site gives its main hall up to 170 guests and a private room up to 50. Rest notes that it has a protected space. Rest's magazine included it in its January 2026 list of Herzliya restaurants with a sea view, placing it in the marina at the water's edge, and The Jerusalem Post's Gloria Deutsch, who was the restaurant's guest, wrote in March 2023 that it looks out over the Herzliya Marina, with views of the sea and the yachts, and that her family had been eating at Papagaio for nearly 30 years.

A main course with a side and a soft drink costs 96 shekels (frango salad, drumsticks, chicken breast, wings or chorizo) or 118 (a 300-gram burger, kebab on roasted aubergine, entrecote salad or spring chicken salad); spring chicken steak, salmon, a 300-gram entrecote and lamb chops come with a side at 98 to 215 shekels. With a set lunch the salada de casa and the house bread cost 49. At lunch the Brazilian table costs 229 shekels a person and 119 for a child up to 10, and the conjunto platters 398 and 459. The lunch menu gives the hours as 12:00 to 17:00; its website says the set lunches are served on weekdays and not on holidays.

Its website gives Sunday to Thursday from 13:00 to 23:00 and says that on Friday the hours vary with demand and that guests should call the restaurant before coming; it gives no Saturday hours. Its booking page has the same weekday hours, with set lunches from 13:00 to 17:00, Friday from 12:00 to 14:30 with a line that the hours may change, and Saturday closed. Its Google listing, as Wanderlog copies it, has Sunday to Thursday from 13:00 to 23:00 and Friday and Saturday closed. Its d.co.il listing has Friday from 12:00 to 15:30, and Herzliya's tourism site has Sunday to Thursday from 12:00 until the last customer, Friday until an hour and a half before Shabbat and Saturday closed.
