The Sound of Nature is a family compound in Moshav Hosen run by Brian Rubin, who by its own account has years behind him in restaurants, baking, pastry, cooking and brewing, and builds wooden tables and decks himself. It has two wooden cabins for couples, each with a round two-person hot tub facing the green hills, a wood stove, a private balcony and a herb and tea garden, and three newer suites above the pool: a 43 square metre family suite that sleeps up to eight, a 38 square metre gallery suite and a 32 square metre couples' suite. Every unit's fridge is stocked with the boutique beer Brian brews himself, dark or light, from wheat and barley. Breakfast can be added at extra cost: whole-grain bread baked on the spot, home-smoked salmon and herring, jams from the garden's fruit, omelettes, granola and fresh juice.
