Binnun Winery is a boutique winery in moshav Kfar Bin Nun, in the Gezer Regional Council, that makes about 35,000 bottles a year, by the council's tourism site. The site says it was founded by Edi Gendler, a retiree of the defence establishment who heads the Center for Digital Innovation at Ben-Gurion University, and Dr Dani Yaniv, a physician, who took the winemaker Louis Pasco on board; Pasco had more than 20 years at wineries in Israel, France and the United States and was chief winemaker at the Tishbi and Recanati wineries. The winery makes its wine from grapes it grows itself, and the tourism site says half its output is exported, to the United States, Tokyo and Hong Kong, and that the winery has won prizes in Israel and abroad, among them a gold medal for its flagship red at the Asia Wine Trophy. It holds wine events and music evenings, runs a members' club, and receives visitors by appointment only, with bookings taken through its Tabit page.
