Gali's is a dairy café, pâtisserie and catering kitchen on HaTa'as Street in Kfar Saba, founded by Ayelet and Amir Segev and named after their eldest daughter. Amir, its pastry chef, left a career as a high-tech engineer to study pastry outside Paris, and its site says the aim is the French pâtisserie and boulangerie at its best. From early morning the café serves breakfasts and sandwiches on bread baked on the premises, with pastries from the confectionery, and at lunch fuller meals. The confectionery bakes cakes, cookies, quiches, krantz yeast cakes and natural sourdough and spelt loaves in a stone oven, and the events kitchen makes platters to order.
