Shabtai Pizza & Beer started here: its site says a group of young entrepreneurs found a small building on the edge of Kfar Vitkin, between a cowshed and a garage, and turned it into the first Shabtai, which has since grown to Even Yehuda and Caesarea; the site dates it to 2009. It keeps to what it calls its holy trinity: good pizza, refreshing beer and a relaxed atmosphere. Pizzas come on a 36 cm tray, from a margherita to chef's pizzas with smoked goose breast and pepperoni or with truffle oil and mushrooms, and can be ordered with a house cashew cheese, beside calamari, fish and chips, salads and desserts, with beer on tap, wine from Vitkin Winery down the road, and cocktails. In its happy hours, from opening until 21:00 Sunday to Thursday and until 16:00 on Friday, there is 30 percent off, and its Wolt page takes orders from 17:00 Sunday to Thursday and from 12:00 on Friday and Saturday, until 22:45.
