Tibi's opened in 2013 at the Vered HaGalil guest farm by Korazim, on Road 90 ten minutes' drive south of Rosh Pina with the Sea of Galilee below, founded by chef Haim Tibi and his partner Roi Cohen. Tibi's earlier stops, by its site, include a deli of his own, the Baron's Stables restaurant in Rosh Pina and Muscat at the Mitzpe Hayamim hotel. The kitchen calls itself a Good-Food-House: beef from local herds aged and butchered on site, home-made beef and lamb sausages, pasta made fresh every day, breads and desserts from its own pastry kitchen, and vegetables from local farms. The menu runs from focaccia and carpaccio to pappardelle with beef ragù and 500-gram steaks on the bone, with a bar of Israeli wines, spirits and cocktails. Its site says diners can also book horse riding with the Vered HaGalil farm, or a room for the night there.
