Havaya Shel Sheket, 'an experience of quiet', is a compound of four guest units and a spring-style pool, heated in winter, in Livnim, five minutes' drive from Hukok beach. The Kinneret suite, the largest at 85 square metres, sleeps six and has a balcony facing the Sea of Galilee and Mount Arbel; the Arbel suite and the Tzalmon cabin, at pool level, sleep four each, and the small Golan room adjoins the Arbel suite. An extended family or a group of 16 to 20 guests can take the whole compound, with its herb garden and places to eat indoors and out, a barbecue included. Its owner, Idit, a photographer, tells on the site how she bought the house after the pandemic, received her building permit on the day the war broke out and opened two years later. She also puts together stays with guided walks, jeep tours, yoga lessons and workshops, and the house rules keep quiet hours from 20:00 to 08:00.
