A dairy café of Jerusalem's Waffle Bar chain at the Moshe Castel Museum, with waffles, shakshuka, pasta and pizza from the taboon.

Waffle Bar in Ma'ale Adumim is one of the six branches of a dairy café chain that began in 1999 in the German Colony in Jerusalem, around Belgian waffles, French crêpes and coffee. The branch is at the Moshe Castel Museum, at 1 HaHatzotzra Street by the chain's site. The chain's menu has grown to breakfasts, six kinds of shakshuka, sandwiches, salads, pasta and ravioli, stir-fries, fish, focaccia and pizza from the taboon, pancakes and waffles; the site says the selection varies from branch to branch. The branch is kosher under the Ma'ale Adumim rabbinate, closes on Friday at 13:30 and opens again an hour after Shabbat ends, until 23:30.
