Fuego is a meat restaurant in Maghar, in the Lower Galilee. Its Ontopo page says the first thing diners see is a fire wall seven metres long, made up of a grill, two smokers and a taboon, with an open kitchen facing the tables. The menu opens with fattoush, tabbouleh and the house Fuego salad, and goes on to veal carpaccio, fire-roasted aubergine with tahini, the house chorizo and kubbeh stuffed with lamb and grilled. The mains are cuts from the fire: aged sinta, Angus entrecôte, lamb chops with freekeh and fillet with truffle mash, with porterhouse and tomahawk sold by weight and platters for two or for four. Desserts include knafeh on coals, pecan pie and crème brûlée.
