20 HaBrosh Street, Magshimim, Magshimim

A coffee cart on a high plot in the middle of Moshav Magshimim, looking over prickly-pear and nectarine orchards, named for the owner's mother

Stella is a coffee cart that Zohar and Ayelet, a couple from Moshav Magshimim, set up in the middle of the moshav, on a high plot looking over prickly-pear and nectarine orchards, with playgrounds, a sports court, lawns and trees around it, according to its Coffee Trail page. Zohar worked in restaurants before, and the couple cleared the plot, built wooden paths and brought in parasols, tables and benches. They named the cart after Zohar's mother Stella, a Holocaust survivor from Yugoslavia who was hidden as a baby with a Roma woman and later found her own mother working in the orphanage she was moved to. The menu runs to sandwiches, salads, personal quiches and Ayelet's cheesecake, with vegan and gluten-free choices.
