Pubella is a live-music pub that belongs to the community of Manof and has run as a non-profit for about ten years, staffed by volunteers who, by its own account, have built up experienced teams for producing and running music and cultural events. Its aim, its site says, is to bring a rich cultural life to the people of the northern periphery close to home, and to give a stage to leading Israeli artists alongside artists at the start of their careers. Its recent calendar has included Aviv Bachar with a trio, Erez Lev Ari, Alon Eder, a blues tribute to rock legends and a winter of electronic music nights, with tickets sold on its own site. The hall can also be hired for conferences, company events, family events and parties, with a professional sound and lighting system, an equipped kitchen and a stocked bar.
