A meat bistro with its own smoker, microbrewery and family vineyard in Moshav Manot in the Western Galilee, on a terrace facing the cliffs of Nahal Kziv with a view to the sea.
Shefi is the bistro of Shmuel Shaltiel HaLevi, known as Shefi, who was among the founders of Moshav Manot and opened the restaurant in 2020, facing the southern cliff of Nahal Kziv. From the large terrace, with its sunshades, hammocks and seating corners, the view runs to the Mediterranean, Rosh HaNikra and the Sulam Tzor ridge; there are tables indoors as well. The menu is built on meat and local produce, with recipes and methods from the American South: the cuts are aged and then go into the smoker at the entrance, beside a Yemenite soup and saluf bread baked on the spot, and there are dishes for vegetarians and vegans. He pours beer from his own microbrewery and wine from the family vineyard, labelled Monforya and aged for a year and a half in French oak barrels. The rooms that were once the compound's guest cabins now serve as private dining rooms for two to eight people, booked in advance.
