Madmon BeMeron is a compound of guest units in Moshav Meron, a five-minute walk from the tomb of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, and its site says it is meant for Haredi and religious guests. It lets two units for couples, four units of two rooms for a couple with two children and five family apartments, all air-conditioned, and every kitchen is kosher, with two sinks, a Shabbat hotplate, an urn and Shabbat timers. The garden has lawns, barbecue corners, hammocks, swings and a play area, and a covered, air-conditioned dining room seats up to 60. Large families and groups can book the whole compound, which sleeps about 50.

  • Cancellation: Within 14 days of booking and at least two weeks before arrival, cancelling costs 5% or 100 shekels, whichever is lower. Special offers, and stays less than 14 days away, carry a 25% fee, and within 48 hours of arrival the full price is charged. If another guest takes the dates, only 100 shekels is kept; cancelling because of war or force majeure costs nothing. Dates can be moved once free of charge up to seven working days ahead.
