Bakery · French pâtisserie · Mevaseret Zion religious council

4 HaYetzira Street, Mevaseret Zion

A French-style pâtisserie in Mevaseret Zion's industrial zone, with a display case of handmade tarts, macarons and butter pastries beside the kitchen that makes them.

David Laor is a pâtisserie on the upper level of Mevaseret Zion's industrial zone, in a shop joined to its pastry kitchen. Its site lists handmade baguettes, butter-rich morning pastries, tarts, croissant sandwiches, marmalades of seasonal fruit, macarons and quiches, made by hand with special flours and butter and without additives. The shop's display case holds tarts, individual desserts, petits fours, macarons, chocolates and marzipan, and a takeaway window serves the morning's coffee and pastry. The business also runs a kiosk in Gan Gideon, in Jerusalem's Baka neighbourhood, and delivers to Mevaseret and the places around it. Its open bakery at 12 HaYetzira Street, on the lower level, is marked on the site as closed for now.
