Falafel Baribua's Ruppin branch is at the Paz Zach filling station on the Hadera to Beit Lid road, at the entrance to the Ruppin college. The chain began in 1995 with one shop on Rothschild Street in Rishon LeZion, and its site lists 21 branches; its founder and chief executive, Guy Yakar, writes there that the falafel is fried in front of the customer when it is ordered and that the kitchens are open to view. The menu has falafel, sabich, shakshuka and omelette in a pita, hummus plates, chopped salads, chicken schnitzel and a plant-based shawarma it calls Shawala, with spelt and gluten-free pitas for a few shekels more. The branch page lists an accessible route, door and furniture, disabled parking and toilets in the compound, and an induction loop.
