Plot 125, Yahalom Street, Har Tuv industrial zone, Naham

A small gin distillery in the Har Tuv industrial zone by Naham and Beit Shemesh, which bottles its gins in hand-decorated ceramic and runs gin-making workshops

Tavlin Distillery was born in the Judean hills from a shared dream of two neighbours: Eli, who was born in the United States, and Amir, a former head of department in the education system and a certified sommelier who went on to study distilling in Europe. They distil gins that give pride of place to local plants and spices, each batch made by hand and poured into a ceramic bottle decorated by a craftsman from Hebron, and four times a year they release a new gin that will not be made again. Batch 4, due in the autumn of 2026, includes a London dry gin, a spicy gin with jalapeño, ginger, peppercorns and cinnamon, and a floral gin made in tribute to the plants of the Judean hills, at 210 to 230 shekels a bottle. At the distillery, visitors spend two hours making a gin of their own choice on a small professional copper still and leave with a 200 ml bottle of it, for 300 shekels a person or 500 shekels for two.
