A coffee roastery and café at Mary's Well that roasts beans from around the world each week and bakes its own cakes
Rose Boutique Cafe was founded in 2020 by the brothers Gassan and Hisham Touma, from Nazareth, and takes its name from their restaurant, Rosemary, a minute's walk away. It roasts its coffee in a machine the owners imported, and each week it roasts beans from a different origin, among them Tanzania, Zambia, Mexico, Ethiopia, Brazil and Colombia; the beans are also sold by the half kilo. It bakes about seven cakes and sweets of its own, French and Middle Eastern, with less sugar, and the menu adds sandwiches, fresh juices, draught beer, wine and cocktails. It began inside the Old City and in 2023 moved to a larger place just before it, opposite the Orthodox Church of the Annunciation.
