Eyal Mafim Tovim was opened in Ness Ziona in 1999 by pastry chef Eyal Oren, a graduate of the Tadmor cookery programme and of the higher school of pastry in Lyon; a second branch followed in Rehovot about two years later. It specialises in home-style cakes and handmade pastries made without preservatives or food colouring: bourekas, small pastries, sourdough breads, cakes and cookies, some without sugar or without gluten, and cakes for events and birthdays. The Ness Ziona branch, which the site calls its flagship, is at 53 HaIrusim Street in the Kanyoter, and is open from Sunday to Thursday, 07:00 to 21:00, and on Friday until 14:30.
