Lechem Artisan is a bakery and patisserie founded in spring 1999 by the brothers Haim and Guy Sadot and the late Shimshon Roth, with eight shops in the Sharon and the centre; this one is in the Piano Centre in Ir Yamim. Its site says its loaves have a hard, crisp crust and a soft crumb, and come from a long, careful process with handwork, as bread was made in the past. The shop sells sourdough loaves of white, wholewheat, spelt and rye flour, bagels, yeast cakes, savoury pastries and cookies, with spreads, jams and cheeses from small producers. It opens at 07:00 on every day but Saturday, until 20:00 on weekdays and 15:00 on Friday.
