An estate winery founded in 1998 at the foot of Kibbutz Netiv HaLamed-Heh in the Ella Valley, with a visitor centre for guided tastings and food

Ella Valley Vineyards was founded in 1998, with its first harvest in 2002, and makes about 400,000 bottles a year only from grapes grown in its own vineyards: some 800 dunams in three areas, near Aderet, below Nes Harim and around Netiv HaLamed-Heh, where the vineyard nearest the winery grows Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Franc and Gewürztraminer among others. Every harvest is picked at night, and most of the wines age 12 to 16 months in French oak barrels. The head winemaker, Ariel Beer, joined in 2023 after more than a decade at other Israeli wineries. The visitor centre, open every day but Saturday, offers guided tastings, a food menu and good coffee in a courtyard, an air-conditioned hall and a tasting room, and hosts private and company events, outside its opening hours too.
