Almond is the C Hotels chain's boutique hotel for adults only, 18 and over, next to the chain's family hotel in Neve Ilan, about half an hour from the centre of the country and from Jerusalem by its own account. Its 60 rooms include pool rooms with a heated pool on the deck, garden rooms with a jacuzzi on the balcony and balcony rooms; Almond Spa has nine treatment rooms, and the rooftop pool, heated to 28 to 30 degrees and open in winter too, looks out over the coastal plain and the hills. The design follows a theme it calls Colors Of Life, with work by Israeli artists: signs and pictures by Tzahi Nevo of UMASQO, photographs by Avshalom Levy and murals by Shirog in the restaurant. The View, its restaurant, serves a dairy and fish menu built on local farms, wineries and breweries, and after breakfast becomes a lounge with coffee, wine and refreshments for guests. Packages on its site ran from 1,670 shekels for a midweek night with a couples' treatment to 5,400 shekels for a Thursday-to-Saturday weekend in a pool or jacuzzi room.
