A family boutique winery in the cellar of a home in Nitzan, run by Moshe and Rivka Cohen with their five children

Aderet Winery is a family boutique winery in the community village of Nitzan, owned by Moshe and Rivka Cohen. Its site says Rivka was born in France and came to Israel with her family in 1989, met Moshe in high school, and after degrees in life sciences and business administration decided around her 40th birthday to study winemaking and viticulture; after working with leading winemakers, the couple set up the winery in the cellar of their home, where they make the wine with their five children. It makes five wines from vineyards around the country: two whites from Golan, Negev and Mount Meron grapes, a Syrah rosé from Merhavia and two reds from the Judean hills aged in French oak. It sells them through its online shop and at points of sale across the country, and invites people to join it on harvest days.
