Mama Coffee is a coffee cart on Arugot Street in moshav Nitzanei Oz, a few minutes from the busy road yet in green, quiet countryside. Its page on the council's tourism site tells how Daniela Simhi left years in insurance to follow her love of people, hosting, good food and coffee, and set the cart up with her sister-in-law, Or; Baba Cafe in Sha'ar Efraim was their inspiration. It serves good coffee and fresh food in a rustic setting with a boho touch, and puts weight on looks, from the small details to colourful drinks made for photographs. It is meant as a stop for drivers on Route 6 who need a break, and opens Sunday to Thursday from 7:30 to 13:00 and from 17:30 to 20:00, and Friday from 7:30 to 12:00.
