29 Derech HaTziyonut, in the Ramada Olivier Nazareth hotel complex, Nof HaGalil

A Galilean-Arab fine-dining restaurant in the Ramada Olivier Nazareth hotel complex, with a hydroponic farm of its own and a balcony over the old city of Nazareth

Locanda opened in 2017 as a small café and grew into a fine-dining restaurant where, its site says, leading chefs of Arab society have cooked; in 2023 the whole space was rebuilt around live plants, a wide green wall, a large bar, a pergola and a balcony facing the old city of Nazareth. The kitchen cooks Galilean Arab food such as shishbarak and vine leaves stuffed with kibbeh, bakes its bread and rolls its pasta by hand, ages meat in house and, by its account, takes fish each morning from the fishermen of Acre. Herbs and greens come from a hydroponic farm beside the kitchen. It serves from breakfast and brunch on, pours a seasonal cocktail list and has a private events room called Zena. It sits in the Ramada Olivier Nazareth hotel complex at 29 Derech HaTziyonut, with open and covered parking and charging points for electric cars.
