Ben Hemo is a meat restaurant in Or Akiva's commercial centre, founded in 2001. Its site says the family are butchers of several generations, with know-how going back to Marrakesh in Morocco, and that fresh meat arrives every day from the kosher butcher's shop they own. The grill sends out skewers, steaks and lamb chops; a meal opens with the house hummus and salads made on the spot each day, and the menu also has Moroccan dishes such as couscous and Moroccan cigars. The room is finished in wood and there is a shaded outdoor area surrounded by greenery. The restaurant also hosts events and offers catering.
