Mako's guide to the town's food, published in June 2025, calls it a mega-bakery with three taboons and says it is still without a substitute. Around the corner where the Iraqi pitas are baked, by the same piece, is a display of cookies, maamoul and pastries: date-roll cookies, Iraqi tea cookies, semolina cookies, kanafeh, Iraqi cheese sambusak, ka'ak, kashkaval boyos, date pastries, nut sambusak and zangula, sold by the kilo. At the tables outside, people eat sabich, shakshuka, cheese omelette and borika. The piece calls it nostalgia itself, a bakery from the days before patisseries. The Or Yehuda religious council lists it as a supervised bakery.
