A kosher grill restaurant in Or Yehuda that began as four tables in a hut at a plant nursery and is run by a family of butchers.
By its site, it all began in the late 1990s in Oved's plant nursery, a small hut in Or Yehuda where friends came on Fridays to sit, drink and eat; once roads were paved, four tables went into the hut. Oved comes from a family of butchers from Iraq, so the menu has been meat from the first day, and the meat is handled on the premises every day. It has grown into a family business that surrounds the skewers with 15 house salads and starters, and it takes lunchtime events for up to 30 guests on weekdays. The site recommends booking a table, above all for a large group. Mako's 2025 guide to Or Yehuda calls it the celebrities' grill and says it opened in a hut in a nursery in the town's fields.
