Two boutique suites for religious guests in Poria - Neve Oved, facing Mount Tabor and the Yavne'el valley, seven minutes' drive from the western shore of the Sea of Galilee
Hechalot is a pair of suites for religious guests in Poria, built by their owners, Shoshi and Yitro, and designed with the designer Keren Malka, its site says. The suites look out over Mount Tabor and the Yavne'el valley, past old olive trees, a small vineyard of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot and beds of herbs, and each has a double jacuzzi and its own garden. They keep Shabbat, with beds that can be separated, a mikveh in the village that opens every day and three synagogues, and massage, acupuncture or shiatsu can be booked to the suite in advance. The owners point guests to walks in the Yavne'el valley, the Swiss forest, the Horns of Hattin and Mount Arbel, and to a viewpoint over the Sea of Galilee and the Jordan Valley twenty minutes' walk away.

Two suites in white and light colours, each with a double jacuzzi, a microwave, a kettle and a coffee corner, a television that plays DVDs and USB sticks, beds that separate, and a private garden with a barbecue, a hammock and seating. The Heichal Gefen suite has a separate children’s room behind a hidden door, with space for two children.
Both suites keep Shabbat: a hot-water urn and an electric hot plate are always there, and anything else for Shabbat is arranged with the owners in advance.
